Roadster structure proof for AutoX
http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...joke/photo.jpg
I hope this helps as well.:tiphat: http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...ke/ill2php.png I doubt it has the deployable system like the higher end convertibles but I doubt it since it seems welded. :shakes head: |
Nobody cares about roll structures for autox, just for track events.
|
i wish it was that easy DR. u gotta own a roadster to see how much $*#@ we get b4 we can track.
|
You are mixing up terms. Autox does not mean track. Autox is in a parking lot and track is a road course race track.
Again, for autox it does not matter since it is at low speeds and there is very little risk of roll over. For the track it really depends on the organization. For The Driver's Edge, who is really popular in Texas, the rules are outlined here. As you can see the 370z convertible is allowed. |
u r mixing up terms...track means a runners coarse around a football field usually 1/4 mile each lap to equal 1 mile every four laps. I know what track means i use it in general terms. lol
|
SCCA used to require roll-over protection for AutoX, dunno if they still make a big deal out of it or not, but Miata duders had to buy rollbars. This was back before convertibles came with good protection like the Z does though.

Do they really want to talk safety when they let little 10 years old running go karts
