I have several hundreds of pounds of aluminum showing up here Friday. That is only the start! I am making my list and checking it twice and I will be ordering damn near a truck load of material here! Let the billet goodness flow.

phunk, you are going to cause some divorces if you keep this up. My new wife already suspects something is funny.

Justin pulled the diff from the 350 today and we have the cover soaking in degreaser. Tomorrow I will mount it in the CNC to get precise dimensions on the bolt locations and etc. I will start a new thread next time I post about that project. This week probably.

Today I made the hard pipe prototypes for the stage 2 fuel system and figured out most the hose routing. Tomorrow and Wednesday I will finalize it and that will be that.

Tomorrow I will start packing up the paid-for RRPs since those should really be shipped ASAP.

Do you guys jack up your car from the diff? I know I do. But when I had the Nismo cover, I would just put the jack in front of the fins and lift from the iron only.
i would be interested in this

im really excited about the RRP, not only so i dont have to even think about fuel starve, but also being able to lose 75-100lbs in fluid weight on track, thats going to be worth a significant about of time on track, and will feel SOO much better. also for street driving, i hate when im on the lower end of a tank, and have to baby a right turn interchange, not that im trying to go track speeds on the street, but its like we all modifiy our cars for grip, and even under the limits of adhesion on the street, our cars can fuel starve on a right

+1. My closest track has a very long, very off camber sweeper and even heading out with a full tank, I cannot run a single full session without having issues. That's even pussy footing around on street tires (my hard core track days are behind me and it's just fun 6 or 7/10's now). I don't even want to know how quickly fuel issues would show up on this track pushing hard on race rubber.

He might be thinking of doing a diff cover with just more capacity which will have the same effect in cooling as the fins. This way we can still jack the car up from the diff. We'll see. He knows what he's doing. Even with the fins it will have more capacity. But without you might get more.
