ALSO... I am curious for any official feedback from those who purchased in this second batch and have had an opportunity to test on the track.
I didn't instal mine yet.
Too busy racing and travelling ^^
I'll do that when the season is over, around oct or nov.

have any of you guys had a issue with fuel seeping up from one of the 3 studs on the top of the surge canister? Phunk, any input?

Its due to a revision to the product, where the 3 top bolts with seal washers were changed out to studs, to ease assembly. Using studs instead of bolts gives the fuel opportunity to travel up the inside of the thread, between the point of the male thread, and the V of the female thread. Thread sealant is required on these 3 studs.

This step was forgotten in the installation manual, and I have been asked about it a few times. It is nothing out of the ordinary... luckily it only takes a few minutes to address it.

Just handled it. Some fuel resistant sealant and a retorque and no leaking. Plus my car makes rights under a quarter tank and the fuel gauge reads correct track test next weekend. So stoked.

I had the same thing. I used some RTV Black on the threads, and installed the nuts on the threads and tighten. No more seeping.

Is there a place in Orange County CA where I can get this installed? I'm sick of sputtering coming out of right handers, and I don't want to install this myself..

You have to call phunk and see if he has any left. He makes them in batches.

We are currently good to go on inventory for the RRP! There might be a couple small parts I have to get (1-2 days) to assemble a complete kit... but there is no manufacturing to wait for.

I would trust just about any reputable performance shop with the installation.

I would agree with Rusty. Most people get it done in a full day or a couple half days. Some people have taken a few days to get it done. It will vary a little with experience and luck.

Thanks, I will try to call you this week. I keep meaning to order your kit, I should have done it months ago. I'm going to Sebring in a couple weeks and I will be kicking myself in the butt when I have to fill up every session!
