Has anyone running this product experienced a hard start issue? I have not had any reported to me. I have a recent installation where the owner is having issues of occasional hard starting.. taking several cranks to start and then running fine after starting.
I currently suspect this as a pressure side leak between the RRP and stock filter/regulator housing. But before chasing it, I wanted to double check that nobody else is experiencing any issues that were not reported to me. |

Mine has been great. Unless you count the time the hose came off inside the tank.

I'm slightly afraid to tackle this myself... I should hopefully be getting mine in a few weeks. I've been a broke d!ck and Phunk's had incredible patience. I might have to reach out to the local Z crew for help on it.

I regret to have to make an unfortunate announcement about the RRP.
We have discovered the hard way, that the RRP will NOT currently fit in the G37 fuel tank. The G37 fuel tank is about 1.5" inches shallower, at least, the specific G37 we discovered on. If I am made aware before hand, modification CAN be made before shipping if a G37 owner wishes to have the RRP. However, I would have to ask that the customer take about 30 minutes of their time to confirm a tank depth on their exact car for me. The G cars come in a few variations, and without having one of each here, I cannot confirm tank depths myself. It is also REQUIRED that the G car is using the 370z style fuel sending unit (even though its a slightly shorter variant), and NOT the 350z style sending unit. The 350z fuel sending unit has internal plumbing that cannot be intercepted for use with the RRP. |

Yup, with the fuel pump out to be upgraded for the kit install, the dimension could be taken. However, I think that I am going to ask all G37 customers to get me this dimension for their car if they want the RRP, unless I can find reference to all the G37 fuel tanks being the same. But I do not believe that to be the case. It shouldnt be much trouble because the dimension can easily be measured by lifting just the level sensor out on the driver side. I suspect about a 15 minute job really. Plus, I am not sure if there will even be another G37 to desire it.

Ok. If you want me to check for you it's no problem. It'll be a month or so. Just let me know exactly what to measure if you want me to check while I'm in there.

It might be interesting to look through Infiniti's parts catalogs for various options/years. Won't give you the depth, but might tell you there are N types of tanks and which options/years have matching tanks.
