I agree. I believe that it's not an easy sale because it is a very expensive product being that it doesn't create HP or grip. Its merely solving a problem that the car shouldn't have from the factory. Almost every car does have this problem, but no where near as extreme as the Z!

mini update: the CNC is setup right now! I just have to go on a 2 hour round trip to pick up some tooling. last night we broke the last of the tiny radius cutters we had. It is the cutter that softens all the edges on the part. As soon as I get back, I will be cutting a batch of the first part. The same fixture and setup is used for the second part, so if I make it through all of the first tonight, then its on to the second part tomorrow. For those wondering, there are 9 billet parts in the road race pump kit.

Boy am I tired... I am a late schedule person, but the I have run the CNC all night the last few nights, not leaving the shop until 5-530am.
Speaking of which, 2 of the road race fuel pump kit parts are COMPLETED! Friday and Saturday I will be able to get one, *maybe* 2 more parts completed. |

I'm going to have to let my spot open up to the next person willing to step up and take my place. Being that I just purchased my twin pump setup I'm not in a position to where I'm willing to alter it and turn it into a single pump to use it with the race pump. I want to thank Charles for offering a solution to be able to incorporate my current setup with the race pump. Later down the road if fuel starvation becomes a hassle I will be willing to upgrade the unit in its entirely. Wanna enjoy my twin pump first before I alter or change it out. The best of luck on this next batch Charles and to those who have them reserved.

Got the 3rd part machined Saturday. Last night I surfaced all the top surfaces of the very top flange. Might have them setup for machining tonight.
Cruising right along so far! Today I am ordering the thin wall tube material so that when it gets here in a couple days my welder can weld together all the mid sections. |

I am actually really hoping to perhaps get these to the anodizer in about 2 weeks! It has been helping them along to run them through the middle of the night since I can get more time in the CNC that way. But its killing me and my ability to provide exceptional customer service!
