Went to the drag with my heavy 20s and exhaust washer mod

Actually shaved off about 1/10 second on the 1/4 mile compared to stock! 13.514 sec Traction played a huge role. Running 285 rear vs stock 245 Temp 89 degrees No

Actually shaved off about 1/10 second on the 1/4 mile compared to stock! 13.514 sec

Traction played a huge role. Running 285 rear vs stock 245

Temp 89 degrees

No burnout or breaking torquing (new tires).

You put washers at the axle back part of your exhaust (in between the flanges) to get a better sound so they say.

I didn't want to burn through a set of new tires with a proper burn out. It hooks just right without break torquing, and it spins a bit (also slower time) when launched at 2-2.5k rpm.

The exhaust washer mod was a joke btw
But it didn't kill the power, that's the most important part

Man that is really surprising you did better with large diameter heavy wheels.

Probably all the improvement was in the no slip launch as you said.

considering it's 89 degrees that's a really good time IMO. I normally run 12.9s to 13.0s and when warm like that I run 13.3 or 13.4 almost without fail so.... seems good to me.

Haha I still don't understand the general hate towards the exhaust washer mod.

It really does sound decent and proved by my run that power wasn't lost.
