Ooo dear...The washer mod....
|
Must....fight....washer....mod.....
Seriously, nice job. Work on that 60' time. You could knock off a good .2-.3 there.... |
Nice getting out to the drag strip. :tiphat:
|
"Exhaust washer mod?" What is that? Inside joke?

You put washers at the axle back part of your exhaust (in between the flanges) to get a better sound so they say.
|
Nice time! Imagine if you worked towards performance!

The exhaust washer mod was a joke btw But it didn't kill the power, that's the most important part |
You shouldn't be burning out street tires at the strip, anyway.
|
Man that is really surprising you did better with large diameter heavy wheels.
Probably all the improvement was in the no slip launch as you said. |
considering it's 89 degrees that's a really good time IMO. I normally run 12.9s to 13.0s and when warm like that I run 13.3 or 13.4 almost without fail so.... seems good to me.

Friends do let freind do washer modding.
e.i. Friend #1 Hey man, sounds like you have a nasty exhaust leak there?!?! Friend #2 Nope that's a kickass washer mod :happydance: Friend #1  Friend #2 Hey it makes my exhaust sounds better, and makes my car faster! Friend #1 :shakes head: |
Haha I still don't understand the general hate towards the exhaust washer mod.
It really does sound decent and proved by my run that power wasn't lost. |
