From what I have gathered on websites, etc....the Hotchkis is about 300% stiffer than stock and the Whiteline is about 50% stiffer.

I have toyed with the idea of going 'square'. At some point I may do this, but I need to find someone selling some wheels cheap as this is more than I want to spend right now (also need to figure out how to get another set of wheels to the track). At that point I would do r-compound. I also like the idea of being able to rotate tires.

Everyone rates their bars differently.
We rated the Hotckis as that is what we were running at first ..it being the largest front bar available ...never rated a Whiteline. We rated it on a flat plate with a scale and press...not just based on a calculation. Last edited by Dwnshift; 06-02-2013 at 06:59 PM. |

where did you get that whiteline info about being 50% stiffer? cause even though the whiteline is same diameter as the stock, stock is hollow and thin walled while the whiteline is solid

Thanks for the advice on the camber. It is consistent with what my instructor recommended.

Yes actually we have new blades that will upgrade gen1 front bar...
And also gen2 front bar. Nismo made a couple rear bars that are/were available for the RC.... But we rated a OEM stock sway bar and the bar that came on our car which I believe was just Nismo stock bar....rate wise around 225-250 lbs per inch?? We used this a a gauge and made a couple rear bars that gave us a good adjustment range. Not much at all compared to our front |

So I should consider a Hotchkiss front and literally a Nismo OE take-off rear... Alright. |
