Some fellow Ohio Z/G owners set up this car corral for the Grand-Am race weekend at Mid-Ohio. Come out and support Dwnshift and the rest of the Doran Racing Team.

Awesome. Hope to make it down there again. Have a track day the next two weeks though so I may be busy. ;/

It was a blast last year for the ALMS race.

I was there, saw your car parked with the other Zs and those GTRs.

Gomer, which way do you guys come to go down there?

My girlfriend's family lives down near Marion so we'll probably just stay there. That's what we did last year for the ALMS race.

I've never actually looked at the route from Toledo but have to imagine it would probably be I-75 to US 23 in Findlay and then US 30. After that I have no idea.

what if the are Nissan wont be ready then and I roll in, in a Subaru?

That's the way we come from up here.

I was checking to see if there was a track day (open/hpde) before or after this race and couldn't find one within a day.. I'd really like to be able to maximize my time if I commute 3 hours each way for the race.

Auto-Interests is out there on the 10th for a track day.. but hanging out in Ohio for 4 more days.. heh.. no offense. :)

I wish they did something like this for the IndyCar race over there. I usually end up going to that every year.

Nissan actually hosted the car corral at that race last year.

I thought they had, but wasn't able to go last year due to a wedding.

Hoping they do something like that again this year, but didn't see anything on their website yet.

Bump ...
We tested two weeks ago and the car was sick fast.
Last year we were on pole with the transformed RC and had a good performance.
Lots of development into the car and we are looking for a solid run once again.
