You're lucky you didn't turn your motor to scrap. A rev limiter can't help you when you go to the red line in 3rd, then hit 2nd instead of 4th.

You're lucky you didn't turn your motor to scrap. A rev limiter can't help you when you go to the red line in 3rd, then hit 2nd instead of 4th. This will force the engine way past the red line. Do your best to make sure you don't do it again. Just trying to save you from disaster.

Also, your time slip is correct. Most of your ET comes from the first part of your pass. If you shut off a little early but still cross the finish line with any reasonable speed it won't hurt your ET as much as you'd think.

Since the first half of your pass was good the easiest guess would probably be to use the suggestion on post number 3 on this thread (1/8 th mile to 1/4 mile conversion).
