i havnt done track days for years now, but used to go at least 5-6 times/ year when i had my 240 and miata. anyway, just wanted to see if anyone would like to post their lap times with the stock car. just kinda curious as to what kind of times this car will do. i cant wait to get back out to the track as soon as my z is broken in. i've only got 56 miles on it, so quite a ways to go. =( |

I didn't take mine out in stock trim, but this should give you an idea of what the car is capable of. Just make sure you at least put an oil cooler on your car before you track it.
Buttonwillow #13CW - 2:05.714 Mods: BC Racing ER Type Coilovers, Hawk HP+ Brake Pads, Berk Technology HFC, JWT Intakes, Mishimoto Oil Cooler, SPL Rear Camber Arms Time Killers: 40mph winds. Most everyone was reporting 2-3 second faster times the day before I ran when it wasn't windy. Stock LSD failed and was acting as an open diff. No front camber adjustments made front tires get greasy really quickly. Big Willow - 1:37.286 Mods: Same as above + Forgestar F14 19" wheels and Nitto NT05 street tires in stock sizes, GTSPEC ladder brace Time Killers: Still on broken stock diff. 95 degree air temps. Still no front camber adjustments. NT05s were stickier than stock tires, but lost grip in the front faster.

I suppose this reply is a bit late but I just signed up.
I did 1:31's pretty consistently at Streets of Willow a couple weeks back (best time 1:30.382), and roughly 2:01-2:02 at ACS Roval in January. I didn't have timing on the car at ACS but matched laps with another car doing those times. The car is still stock for now... z Redline Time Attack Streets Test |

you should post your times on this thread:
370Z Top Ten Track Records - Road Courses your times are very similar to mine at those tracks. i think there's a sub-1:30 time in the car for sow and a sub-2:00 at acs, which is what i'm aiming for my next time out. Quote:
