Great day today 12.419@109.52 1.642 60' foot
A new record....
Started with 12.5's as a warm up. After doing a 12.497, I asked the starter for some help. He said I should heat up my tires more. I smoked them till a bunch of white smoke filled the air. I brought the RPM to over 5k & let it rip. When I got to the time slip booth, the girl was smilling & handed me the slip. I went & thanked all 3 starters for their help. |
what mods do you have?

My question is if slicks help your 1/4 time very much, & they cost only apx. $400 dollars for both, why aren't more people using slicks? I don't know anyone here using them. I think I know why, but like to hear from others. |
1.64' 60' time is really good. Props for that!
Good for YOU! Coop |
Coupe auto, K&N drop-in's, everything else stock
60': 2.03 s 1/8: 8.56 s 1/4: 13.19 s "I" don't use slicks because I drive to and from Test & Tune. But hey, you can find Hankook slicks 245/40/18 for $280 brand new & that will put a stock Z at 12.6ish.. I should time 12.93-13.08 s fairly easy, with all-season street radials, next test. All I need is a 1.99 60' which should be cake. His 1.64 s 60' is monstrous, that's faster than a stock GTR. |

Just curious and a little off topic, what's your gas mileage at with the 4.08 gears?

Gentlemen, check the dates before bumping a thread. The last post was almost 2 years ago.

I would like to know what size rims he used and what slicks he used.
