One thing that I am seeing is that I am not getting the tires to roll all the way over to the edge in the front or rear. I have my fonts at about 33psi and rears at 27. Question is can I keep going lower in pressure to get roll over? Or will my contact patch suffer from too low psi? I dont have a pyrometer to help me at the moment.
Tires with really stiff sidewalls can sometimes mask rollover. I probably would't go any lower than you are already. fwiw I run ~34 front and 28 rear on Hoosiers

Your best bet would be to get you hands on a tire pyrometer.

Ferodo DS2500's. I've never had them make noise on my Z. They do dust pretty badly though.

Thanks for the advice there. I will try using my infrared thermometer. I know its not ideal but it was free :-).

For autocross, I currently run Carbotech AX6 up front and stock on the rear. They are pretty dusty, probably as much as the XP pads. I'd recommend stock pads if you need one pad for daily driving and autocross (I don't daily my Z so I leave the AX6 on).

This past weekend I placed 2nd in B Street at the Grenada Match Tour. I also qualified for the Top Dog shootout and made it to the final 4 before getting eliminated. Pretty good site. Good practice for Wilmington and Nationals since the surface was similar.

This was my round 2 shootout run against a national champ from my region. We ended up within a few hundredths of each other on dial-in.

I ran with the Tidewater Sports Car Club this weekend, and won the Novice Class

I was less than .3 sec behind the B Street winner, who has been racing his '15 STI for a year and a half. This was my 4th event with the Z, so I'm pretty happy with it

I had the only Z34 there, there was a 73 240Z running in BSP and a 78 280Z running in SM.

Has everyone made what should be a semi annual request to have the 370z moved from str to stu? If not, here is the link where you can do so and and a sample letter for you to either copy or use as a template.

Hello,

Writing to suggest the move of the 370Z to STU. I feel that it fits the spirit of this class much better than STR. Compared to the C5 Corvette, it is very similar in weight, power & size.

C5 FRC - 3173 lbs, 350hp, 73.6"wide
370Z - 3232 lbs, 332 hp, 72.8"wide

Both cars can fit the maximum alloted wheels, and like the 350Z, the 370Z is a very popular car, easy to work on, reliable, and fun to drive. 255s on a 9" wheel are much smaller than factory sizes, and I predict much better participation in ST if it were classed with wider wheels/tires. Since it was bumped to BS, many owners have looked to make the move to ST, but have been turned off by the wheel & tire limitations of STR. STU would present a much more desirable option for the car.

Thank you.

Should also include:

370Z (non-Nismo)
370Z (All)

Agreed. I tweaked that in my letter. The mild differences of the nismo shouldn't bar it from stu.

Submitted - I would definitely consider modifying my car to step down to STU if they opened up the 370 to that class. Everyone put in a request!!

You're not the only one (Of course they'd have to make it 370z-all). Of course a lot would depend on what happens with street prepared. If SP rule changes allow sphericals I think I'd just stay in SP.

Making the sport model z drop to smaller than stock width wheels is a turn off to a lot of people that would otherwise compete, and the nismo may as well be barred from competition with how it gets classed. I really hope it gets pushed through, and I hope it will if we remain persistent.
