On a side note, how much camber can you guys get on a stock car? I havent done an alignment, but just curious to see what I will see on the machine.
Holy crap that is tight. That had to be the worlds shortest stop box as well, LOL.

If you have factory suspension you have no adjustment and no way to gain. I think my stock alignment was around -1.0.

yup, that's the kind of BS we have here. It's either make the 2.5 hours drive or do the peanut size lots.

Eibach listed some camber bolts for the 370z? Is that really camber bolts or new camber plates?

Also what is the best front bar for this car, the Hotchikins?

This is the other lot we run, just as small. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csMS72kgoYI

Wow for a while there I thought it was like the Nascar of Auto-x, you only turned left!

I believe the Eibach part is a replacement upper control arm.

As far as best front sway, there is probably some distributed opinion on this. I had the Hotchkis front sway bar with stock suspension but felt it introduced too much understeer, although it works well with coilovers and an adjustable control arm. If I was replacing just the front bar I guess I would lean towards the Stillen or the Whiteline as they aren't quite as stiff. I think the Whiteline may even have 2 adjustment settings.

The understeer is why I wanted to stay away from replacing just the front bar to get rid of the inner rear lift. I understand it is faster, but I just hate to have a car that drives $hitty. My car isn't an autox only car, so it has to drive nice at the track too. I guess a smaller bar would be a good compromise.

Autox Z, what bar did you use on your car?

I believe Hotchikas is 35mm, Cusco is 28mm, Whiteline is 32mm (2 pt adjustment), Nismo 27mm, stock 26mm. Stillen is 32mm I think.

Default 370Z Cleans Up CS In Washington, D.C.

I wanted to give Sam Strano and Salvatore Dipompo congratulations for taking 1st and 2nd , respectively, in C Stock at the Washington D.C. Region SCCA, Inc. WDCR Solo Championship Event #7 Autocross/Solo II on Sunday.

Also, for Learic Cramer in blowing the doors off the ladies and the men (she actually ran faster than Salvatore Dipompo).

All three were co-driving a yellow 370Z.

I was pleased in taking 6th place (out of 10) in C Stock on my RE-11’s at my first SCCA event.

we were back at a "norma;" autocross layout today... i felt just like you guys... i have new tires up front and about 3/32nds left on the rear and the car oversteered pretty crazy today felt just like driving a Z... will take that over the normal understeer all day

Sorry I just saw this post. I use the hotchkis bar and it's just about perfect with the Hoosiers on the car. However on street tires the understeer was well, epic. I would recommend a smaller bar for street tire use.

To All: If you follow the link above to watch Tom driving, you should also see a video listed in the column to the right: "370Z at Goodwood Hill climb" or similar. They get to drive quite a long way. I'm wondering if such events are open to all and, if so, how we could organize similar events in the states.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is a huge event, but there are much smaller hillclimb events here in the US. There are at least a couple in the North East where I'm at, so check around.

I'm excited about the potential bump for the 350z's to ESP!
