Questions about Hoosier a6's
Hello! Just bought a spare set of sport rims and four Hoosier a6's 295/30-19 on all four corners. First of all, what tire pressure should I set the tires for cold? What pressure should I keep them at once they are warm? When I put the rims on for the first time before the Auto X event on Sunday, should I take the car on the road to season the new tires? I have front and rear sway bars. With the race tires should I set them to the stiffest position? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Ken

I shoot for 35 hot on my R6's, but I don't autocross, so I can't offer any more than that.

I set them 30 psi front and 28 rear hot for ax. What are your alignment settings? a6s need lots of negative camber to work properly. At Least -2 but -3 is better. Do you have a little toe out up front?
If you don't have much camber more bar would help a little. But would focus on front. Be careful not to put too much ear bar on our cars. I wouldn't worry about scrubbing them in on street. They will perform fine after your first run. |
