Pocono - Infield landscaping trip

Took a minor off track excursion to do a litle lawn maintenance- no damage- a little scrap/chip to front lip. 370Z Pocono Off Track - YouTube

Here are a few laps that I kept all 4 on track

Not a great road course- but had to try it once. Think I will stick to Limerock, The Glen, NJMP

I dont know if the rear toe link is stronger on the 370 than 350. My friend in his G35 had a similar spin a few years back like you did, it bent that $70 rod.

The walls definitely make the track seem different, it seems to make entrance to T1 more difficult. Question.

#1 How come the GPS seems so far off? I know Harry updates 1 sample per sec, but it should be able to do a decent calculation in between the two sample. Yet when I was watching the video, it seems like the speed jumps every second, the software lost track of how to correlate the two datapoints.

#2 How come your car seems to plow so badly? It seems to understeer through every turn

My experience with HLT has been great. Something was wrong with his iPhone placement perhaps. Harry's is typically pretty darn accurate for me.

I think he was overdriving the corners and not braking enough. When the lawn excursion happened, it looked like he was trying to enter that corner at the same speed as the wicked race car that was in front of him. The Z has great mechanical grip, but not up to par with that car that has downforce as well as R comps!

HLT- was running new version 16.03 but had some bugs- 16.04 came out next day- so should be better next time out-

Yes- was pushing hard into corners- should have been a little more into brakes- my Pilot Super Sports are pretty worn - especially the "dry tread" area so need to take more off my entry speed.

On the race car- yes was trying to keep pace- got caught as I was distracted taking some marshmellows out of the bag to try to toast em up on the exhaust flames- was pretty impressive flames up close

I don't have an IPhone, but is it possible to upgrade to 5 to 10 hz on the GPS with an external one or did they block that to? I used the internal GPS on my Galaxy S2, the reading seems suspect at best.

I didn't watch it with the audio, but the apex speed looks okay except I believe the numbers are not 100% accurate. I see the data jumping every second as it updates. With that type of cornering speed, you should have a lot more straightline speed. I dont know what happened?
