The best rpm to launch at depends on the road surface, tires, and a little bit on temperature. I usually launch at 1500 rpms at the drag strip with VDC

The best rpm to launch at depends on the road surface, tires, and a little bit on temperature. I usually launch at 1500 rpms at the drag strip with VDC off, but doing that on the street is pretty much useless most of the time. Just get a lot of wheel spin.
