Might talk to some local people to see how much I could get the pair for. Maybe I can find someone using them as winter wheels and swap my fronts for their rears? Would that work? Don't know how it would be to run 4 18x8 base front wheels, but maybe it won't matter if it's only being used as a winter setup?
I called them before, they said it was about 20lbs, 21 at the most.

... sort of back on topic ... after reading a bunch of stuff I am still confused on a couple things.

If you boil or overheat the brake fluid would the brake pedal get stiff or go to the floor ?

Is it possible that a misadjusted master to pedal rod under heat could block the orifice between the master and reservoir and cause a stiff pedal ?

I believe if you boil the brake fluid, the pedal goes to the floor.

your issue sounds like the booster went out, not boiling the fluid. If you boiled the fluid, the pedal would have went to the floor very easily and you would have no brakes.

set of 4 wheels were 500 and widening them was 225 each, if I recall correctly. 1400 for a set of wheels weighing less than 20 lbs each.

thanks Mike ... I had googled this after I asked the question ... I always do things backwards LOL.

I take it you got all 4 rears that are 18 ? I know one year I think they made the fronts 18 and the rears 19 ... but I think you got 18 rears from a prior year ?
