Did you ever look at actual results? ...just saying. Remember these are endurance races. They're driving car much harder and taking more chances than consistent winners in the series. I attribute limited success to great driving than to the 370z. And still have yet to see commercially available products come from this series? just was hoping we rank amatuers would get some table scraps. Oh well it's still fun to watch a 370z in the grand am field. I don't fault Doran Team. I had higer expectations for them and Nissan in this series. Sorry just saying what I feel. I still wish them well and hope they do better next year! If 370z is such a ringer why are no other teams in Grand Am going with this car? Just wondering? If well regarded team like Doran can't get this car in winners circle I'm sure others look at that and go with other cars? I'm probably way off base but I wonder about this. Is it lack of factory support compared to other cars?

Actually the Porsche had a very big advantage over the other cars in the field this year.
When a series put over 200 lbs on a car throughout the year... And it still maintains a competitive edge...perhaps that was "the car" to have. Grand Am has a very difficult job trying to maintain a level playing field between all the manufactures. Shamu.... You would be hard pressed to find anyone out there that wants a W with this program more than myself..... And there are a looooooot of people behind us. As far as super secret developments... There are lots of things and ideas we have on how to make our platform better... faster ... or more efficient. I am not always in the position to let you know what these things are.... Just the way it is.... Sorry. This was really considered a developmental year for the project and racing takes many things to go your way on any given weekend. They obviously didn't go our way this year by the competitors knew every weekend ....we were a car and team to watch out for. Guess we just have to wait and see what the future holds. |

Best of luck! I'm just impatient. Would love to see 1 or 2 commercially available Motorsports parts come from all money that has been poured into this by Nissan. And maybe one winners circle next year? I just don't know if its possible?

I have no doubt we'll see commercially available parts as a result of their efforts. I personally laid hands on some pretty amazing finished products @ Znats.
Perhaps you should have come out |

Not beat a dead horse.... But I we had the budget ... That most of the other GS competitors we ran against.... things could be really good.
For what we had... I believe we showed very well.... this was noticed by those that had given us the opportunity. At the end of the day... It's not about producing after market parts... It's about building up /maintaining brand interest and excitement. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1350484866.398697.jpg |

Any idea which races yall are planning on hitting next season? If you make it down to Austin I would love to stop by and see the car/chat.
