it doesnt look very wet to me in the video... but if it was wet/raining, the best advice would be not to drag race in the rain lol and nice touch on hitting the timing box even after gaining control of the car LOL

Smooth inputs (steering, throttle, brakes) is the key to be quick in just about any situation. Jab the throttle and you'll break the rear loose. The less traction (eg, wetter it is) the smoother you need to be. Do some autocross and learn to play with the car, weight distribution, and driving on the limit. Little tail wags like that won't be hair-raising at all when you get used to 'catching' the car. I find the Z very predictable and catchable in the dry. In the wet, she's a hairy unpredictable beast like most other sportscars.

Some time I find the road is more slippy when it is in between wet and dry. Don't know if you get what I mean?!

If it has not rained in a while and it is raining, the rain will lift the oil from the road's surface. That will make it seem even MORE slippery. After a constant rain you just get wet roads....not wet roads with a side of Anti-freeze, oil, etc.

Ah, the left lane at Old Dominion. There's a dip in the track pretty early that causes A LOT of cars to kick the back end out. I've done it before in an old Mustang. Pretty scary! What happened to you looks a lot like what has happened to me (and MANY others) in the left lane.
