What Car Is This (that I had little fun with) ?
 

Never mind the reason...but we found ourselves side-by-side at a red light at an on-ramp to the Interstate.

Anyway, we must have both decided to "hit it". I wasn't sure at first even though I gave it more of a go than I normally do but when it was clear he was on it, I took her through the gears--and we both let off at about 70 MPH.

It was pretty much even with us staying nearly side-by-side the whole time.

What I want to know is what kind of car it was. It had no markings on it that I could see except for a single emblem in the back that had wings on it like a Mini or an Aston Martin (but yet, not quite the same as either).

I couldn't find anything like it on my Forza list of emblems (about 85).

So, surely someone knows what it is... LOL ...and why it was able to hang with me. (I'm guessing it was automatic as I gained on him till I had to shift and I would lose about a third/fourth of a car length).

It is, There top of the line one has like 350hp (rounding off) whoops thats for the 2013 from what I just seen on the net. The 2012 has 306hp. So I guess hyundai is trying to bring the heat.

I keed, but yeah - that's a gen coupe. That one looks so much better than the new body.

Yep, that's the emblem I saw, for sure. ;)

I should be disappointed, then. I out-powered him and he weighed more. Kind of sad. My hesitation at the start only cost me about half a car length (which I made up till I shifted). Maybe I was too cautious shifting... I had the air cond. off.

Just noticed a STICKY about street racing. I'm guessing side-by-side each in our own lane of travel running up to about 70 MPH on an on-ramp might not get me in hot water...
