They really should only be used for autocross or time attack. Another thing to think about, unless you are on upgraded coilovers with really stiff spring rates, slicks aren't going to be your best bet. Your suspension will be too soft to really take advantage of them. I would honestly go with a sticky street tire like the Hankook RS-3. They will last longer and will be better matched for stock and/or most off the shelf coilovers. Just my $0.02.
