I went to a local Porsche club autocross. Did ok. Friend in the club mailed me their most recent newsletter:

"This is tough to type and probably harder to read, but the fast time of the day went to Salil Shukla, driving a Nissan... uuugh. It must have had something to do with the solar eclipse. If it is any consolation, the 13 next-fastest cars were Porsches!"

Thanks a lot guys. You'll have to pardon my fanboi homerism, but the 37O is a great car. FWIW my Z was totally stock at that event with exception of Hankook RS3's.

Good job! Way to represent! Youre not only guy harrassing Porsches at PCA events. LOL! Great thing is my car is hanging with dedicated Porsche race cars on race slicks at PCA AX events. Im easily 1000 lbs heavier than the race cars that are barely squeaking by the over 3000 lb 370Z.

I almost got TTOD at this event. Had TTOD for awhile but then couple guys squeaked by me. That Cayman S won its class at Pro Solo in El Toro. So my big Z is hanging with some fast cars.

Here is one of the cars that gives me a little trouble. LOL!

I have just about got the car sorted with new supercharger and I have pulled nearly 200 lbs off the car since that event above. I think its only a matter of time before Z is fastest car at local PCA event this year.

That is exactly why I hate snobby F'n Porsche owners....I looked at a used Porsche Cayman S over the Z, but then I met other Porsche owners at the dealerships and went, "screw these bastards"- hateful bunch...Went back to the Nissan dealership an bought my Z.

You know, I've driven a $400,000 car and a $4,000 car. Money doesn't have to make you and A-hole; unless you really don't have it.
