I was thinking about doing the same. But I a want the z to be more a track/time attack/daily driver.

Resurrecting this thread...

I just cooked my sport vlsd (38k miles, 10 track days/10 autocross/windy roads), and you will definitely notice it and be able to feel it when a wheel starts spinning.

Just to be 100% sure, I tried my datalogger today breaking loose on some hairpins:
