We are working on CNC programming, and should have the machine cutting some of the parts tonight or tomorrow morning. I will be trying to put together a mailing list update with some details over the next couple days! I am excited to finally be moving forward with this project!

Parts coming out of the CNC... fixtures for the base plate were made yesterday, and we started cutting the base plates. We have a set back for today, last band saw blade for our horizontal broke, we only had 7 sections of base plates cut, and we need more than that! New blade coming tomorrow.

the base plates turned out awesome. as soon as the saw blade gets here in the morning we can run the rest of the batch and then on to the next part, which will be the fuel pump support. It will hold a single or dual fuel pump of the typical walbro 255 dimensions, which also encompasses the DW, Aeromotive Stealth, Walbro 400 and 485s, etc.
The first run will only be sold with a single walbro 255, which is the way that it was setup during testing. But even this first run will still have the components to be able to house larger and/or twin pumps. We just need to test them like that before we want to sell them in that configuration or have people reconfiguring theirs in that fashion. pictures and mailing list update soon... just want to have a little more material in my hand before showing off. |
