Just did a little bench testing with it mostly assembled. Everything is working great. This is a really kick *** device.

I might be back in on this. Won't know for two weeks.

There are 3 left in the first production run that are unspoken for. However I should probably expect at least one person to bail at last second as that is pretty common with this type of stuff.

Just after my last post I started the long write up on all the details, but halfway through I got pulled into a meeting that took until long after hours. I'll try and see if I can finish it up tomorrow.

While remotely possible, it is pretty unlikely. The last part we have to machine is probably the most complex part in the unit. It will require machining from 3 different mounting positions, 2 of them requiring custom machined fixtures.

After the machining is all done, we get the parts anodized. The anodizer usually has the parts for 3-5 days. Anodizing is not required.. but we do it as a way of stamping the parts as "complete" and ready for use... and because it is just more professional looking to us. I would personally recommend waiting out the anodizing. Its also nice because it removes conductivity from anodized surfaces, which can be nice for parts with wiring inside the gas tank.

We will see how the last part comes together and how quickly and go from there. Everything else for this has been taking longer than expected and I trust that the theme may continue.

I can wait.. Its just that the tank is fairly empty right now, but will be full after the track day and I don't have any street tires to drive it and empty the tank. this set of hoosiers should be done after this track day though, so I'll just drive them around to kill the tank.

So production/testing for the forced induction model starts when this batch is complete?

Testing will begin yes. I will be using my own car for that. It's more of a configuration/setup change. Nothing different has to be manufactured for it, it just changes to how we configure it before installing it to the gas tank.

Trust me... If it was all in my control, this would have entered production a long, long time ago. You have no idea how hard I have to push for so long to get new things to finally exist. Some day, I hope to speed up that process.

Lol! I have a fix that Z CAr garage made. Essentially is a surge can with an additional pickup and pump on the other side that pumps fuel over. Only use it on track during sessions.

Still would rather have a fuel cell I think.

Cool beans! I will be waiting and watching.

still interested

CNC has been running the last part since yesterday. Once this program is done we run another program on the last part and we can start sorting out installation/assembly. Final stretch now. There is no way I won't have these at the anodizer next week. Should hopefully have pricing details today.

Looking forward to it.
