I also wish this wasnt so expensive. That and the fact that it looks like a very difficult and stressful install.

I have too, driving way too fast for a public road and with less than a quarter tank.

Doesn't mean I would recommend it to someone who never tracks... for the money you can do a lot of other things. That's all.

Considering the time and R&D it's about right. If all the people that originally said they would get one would of, it would of helped some. I was looking for about $700-800 my self. But when you think what you get out of this in the long run. Well worth it. Most people only want to spend money on mods others can physically see. They even over look a good LSD. Installing requires patience. But now that I have this. I would of paid more.

Definitely mod of this generation Z.

Easy tiger. I don't drive like a jerk at all, but I do live in an area with lots and lots of twisties, along with long sweeping 270 degree downhill on and off-ramps which are perfect places to ride out on the edge of the traction circle a bit. To the right... on my way home from work... every day... sometimes a little low on gas... merging onto highway 70... full of semis and SUV,s and minivans... not wanting to lose power when it counts... See where I'm going with this?

Could I spend 1000 bucks on body kits and fancy headlights, sure, but I'm more of a mechanically minded modder. LSDs HFCs, Flywheels and Clutch. That kind of stuff. This mod is AWESOME. Fixes a thing that would bug the Cr*p out of me if it happened at the wrong time.

Thanks for the input, but please don't assume I'm an unsafe driver, or don't know what I buying, if I decide to pop one in. I just like making my ride a bada$$, safe, reliable, mechanical masterpiece.

Peace.

Wow. Uh, where to begin.

I wasn't making a statement about anyone's driving style, I was just saying the only time it's happened to me on the street was when I was hooning...

As for the other comments, preaching to the choir, but you'd know that if you'd looked at my build thread linked in my sig. Appearance mods are definitely not what I was even referring to in my original comment.

One customer who was installing this product a few days ago was text messaging me. I accidentally deleted the text conversation and had not saved the number. Can whoever that was please text me again or call me. There is a step missing from the instructions that another customer just made me aware of and I wanted to make sure to get that information to you.

Ah I suppose I should mention what was missing from the instructions since those who have already installed it must be wondering now if something isnt setup right with them.

There are 2 updates I will be putting into the PDF.

Major Update: Before putting the final lid on the assembly, I never actually said to put the surge can fuel pump output hose on the fitting and clamp it. If your car is running, you intuitively connected this. If your car isn't running, you follow instructions better than the other guys

Minor Update: Apply teflon thread sealant to the 3 studs before final install of the 3 nuts with sealing washers. Those 3 studs used to be bolts, and therefore needed no sealant. But it was found easier to install by switching to studs and nuts, so the threads themselves need to be sealed since those threads go all the way into the can. Without sealant, there could be very minor fuel seepage visible... I do not foresee a DRIP or anything, but more like some wetness on top of the unit without thread sealant.
