Autocross Cincinnati 5/6
Took my Z out for its 2nd Autocross since I have it. I have no mods on my car straight stock. I was in the CS class for SCCA Solo, this surprised me since the class was mostly Miata's.
Started on slow with a 65.071, by the 5th run end with a 57.616. Placed 2nd in class, about 2 seconds slower to a Miata with soft tires. The course was fast, enough places to let the Z run, one section in 2nd hit almost 7500 rpms. What I learned was the car like to run and STOP. The only reason I say that is my old car was a 91 Mustang GT, it like to run but it did not like to stop. It is such a blast to drive. |
