Nissan 370Z Forum

Anyone ever experience Brake Failure as C&D did?

Will the ducts work on a non nismo fascia ? Not sure how different the two are curvature wise at the mounting location

Btw.... It's a 4" duct...splits into 2... 3" hoses... Which feed to our own backing plates on t rotors.

Wink

I called Paul yesterday. The ducts are $380 each, and you have to sign up for the Nissan Racer Support Program before they can sell them to you.

And unfortunately you have to be running in the SCCA or NASA wheel-to-wheel classes to qualify to sign up. I emailed them last year about the possibility of supporting some time trial classes (just to buy parts, no cash reward) but they never responded.

Seems like from a product development stand point they would want as many items out there as possible. Would help make the products better because they would get more feedback. Rather dumb IMHO to limit themselves to a handful of cars, if that, year in year out.

All the Mazda folk I race with are on the Mazda program as it is apparently much more liberal in it's support of time trials. It would be nice if Nissan followed suit.

I spoke w Paul at NMP today.... They will and want to sell parts to anyone that tracks a 350-370z. So you don't have to be racing...this goes for NASA TT sessions or just a DE guy.
The carbon RC ducts only fit on the NISMO front nose.
Again.....Nissan Motorsports parts will sell you parts if your tracking your Z and hey had already sold 3 or 4 sets of the 10 we sent them.

I'm going to order some tomorrow, if the agree to sell them. Too bad you were not at new jersey for the race with the Z. I have tons of pics, what was your company running in prototype? Tell me and I'll post some pics of them. It was a great race, and great weather.

Great! Thanks for the continued support. Now ... when will those upper control arms be available?

They ran the only v2 dp ....dallara w paul tracy and jim lowe. I havent heard the scoop yet but i know the results were not what they wanted.

Our upper control arms are completed....as well as rear camber and rear toe arms.
Ill be at the shop tomorrow and hopefully be able to post pics.
These arms should alsi be available through NMP.
Also gonna talk w the boss regarding a fix for the pick up issue in the oem tank.
Dwnshift

We have a stock saddle tank and pump assemblies at the shop
