DE drivers using HANS?
Anyone in DE using a HANS device? Will it interfere with the stock seats? Seems like a good idea but didn't see anyone in my groups using them. Just the racers/TT guys with racing seats/harnesses.

I have a harness bar in my car (we're in Australia so I'm not sure about US classes andcategories), and I use my HANS with the OEM seat.
I did have to check the FIA HANS fitting guide to make sure that the shoulder belts are mounted correctly and the head-rest does not interfere with the operation of the HANS and all was good. RB |

I'm working towards it, but with aftermarket seats. Got the harness bar from BGTV8 and have some seats on order.

I expect to be using one by my next track day if I can find someone to custom mount my seat. I also have a BGTV8 produced harness bar. :P
There are alternatives to HANS that do not require 5pt harnesses. I've never actually seen one in use but a little googling should lead you in the right direction. |

I did another track day in my 370, and I really can't bear to part with it. Not gonna go spec 350 at this time, I love the 370 too much. I'm sure there is a NASA class that I can compete in it if I want to.
