Default First drag strip passes with mods..

F.I. full exhaust (test pipes) and stillen g3s. EXACT SAME ETs and MPHs. Didn't get uprev (yet) and I feel like the launches are ok. (still matting the pedal on launch...haven't tried "squeezing" the throttle like you do a trigger.) 13.4s @ 103-104mph, 2.07 60' and rts between .026 up to .125 (only made 6 passes)
Outside temp was 78* @ 90% humidity, Car temp was always between 200 and 220. 7at

those numbers look like what the car would do stock.

Your 60' time seems like you might be spinning too much or not launching hard enough. You need to be in the 1.8 range.

Question

Interesting to see that your times stock to modded didn't change at all, 104mph trap. Was the weather cooler when you tracked it stock? Maybe this just backs up the idea "go fast" mods w/out tuning is practically useless/waste of money.

as for the launches. I "dry hop" to clean the tires and get an idea of traction b4 every race. Car was hooking. Temps for this day were only about 10* hotter and it was after sunset.
After 2 runs, I was watching the tach for unnecessary revs...didn't see any. Car MUST have been hooking to get the RTs I posted. If I was spinning, the RTs would have been all over the place.
I did drive "normally" for the first couple hundred miles after the Stillen install and I did read that the stock ecu "learns" and remaps after the battery has been disconnected.
As for the mapping post, maybe my assumption was based on all the dyno videos I watched b4 buying these particular performance parts. I assumed the gains would be there after installation (and the car felt much more lively after the F.I. install) but in retrospect, those runs were on dynos so, is it safe to assume that the dyno operators were mapping the ecu WHILE testing?
I am considering disconnecting the battery long enough for the ecu to reset, then making several ballz out passes to see if it remaps itself.
I was committed to getting the uprev eventually, but after $2000 in mods with no net gain, I am concerned about the results.
I was ok with the stock times even tho guys here like "speedysgarage" laid down 13.0s stock. I figured the mods would net 2-3 tenths but nada.
tks

UpRev is needed with that much modification. You may be dangerously overlean sucking that much air and you definitely want the 0-60 contoller disabled from the stock ECU map.

so there's a 0-60 controller in the factory settings? i didn't know that. Where can I get the most information about uprev? I visited their website but everything is a vague description...nothing in real detail. I am an old school carb and cam guy so this ecu stuff is new to me.

I don't believe you get full WOT for launches unless the ECU is instructed to let you. UpRev gives multiple maps that are fully controlled by the tuner. Find a local UpRrev tuner using this forum.

With bolt ons and no tune you could actually be running slower than stock. Ask B1adesofchaos. The difference in performance between when I was running on just bolt ons and after I tuned was very noticeable. Throttle response and overall power delivery were MUCh better. Get it tuned.

tks guys... will do uprev soon.
On a side note, my 4th run I was against a 2011 5.0 w/supercharger, exhaust and drag radials. I cut a .026 light and was 2 cars out on him. I heard him hit the limiter in 1st and miss 2nd trying to get around me. Alas, his pass was 11.20 but it was fun to listen to him panick because rice was out early and fast on him. lol
