Default Auto-X numbers

Alright I'm tired of using blue tape to hold up my magnets and wanted something a little better looking.

Are you guys using vinyls if so is there any issue with taking them on and off. A local vinyl shop told me there's semi-permanent. I don't want to drive around like I'm in the Mach 5 or General Lee.

Just looking for something that I can take on and off like a Shrinky Dink.

Get Magnets. Way easier to take on and off.

Default Doors are aluminum

Magnets will not work on the doors. I think the fenders are steel. Check with your local autocross club. The racing supply sites have numbers you can order that will stay on (static cling) for autocross but aren't an option for track days because of highspeed.

I use temporary vinyl. These ones are good, just make sure the door is super clean before you put them on, I wipe it down with detail spray first, make sure it is dry and then apply them. Press the edges down firmly so they don't lift. Tested up to 130mph!

I use magnets on the rear quarter panels just infront and above the rear wheels. Works great, autoX clubs are fine with it.

I was going to say same thing. Reusable and static cling numbers are a pain

^ Thanks for the pics. I ended up making my own set of magnets with my GF doing all the work

Magnets work fine for auto-x but I've never had luck with them on track.

Yeah my homemade magnets started to slip and the edges are curling. Can't complain too much for less than $6 in materials.

I just got a set of removable vinyl numbers...they worked great when I was Autoxing my Z06....but you gotta keep the car clean of dirt and debris before putting them on. I put them on at the car wash just before athe event...highway speeds....no problem!!!!

temporary vinyl works great...magnets also work on the quarter panel or the fender.
