I really dont understand why you are posting in here? You are adding no value at all and simply trying to start an argument. I did this LAST night, they were not plug and play, you had to modify the stubs to get them to fit correctly. If you would like to prove otherwise, start a thread and try the same thing. Thanks. |

There has to be a length difference. I really dont know what else would explain the need to modify the stub if they were a straight plug and play unit? We had to shave a good deal off of it to fit it with both stubs in correctly.
You said you have done this swap previously? Did you have to shave down the stub assy at all to get everything to fit together right? |

Thanks for the interesting info corbin. I have been looking around at lsds recently because I may have damaged mine on the track. While I dont plan on putting in a cheap vlsd unit, I had not encountered this bit of info during my lsd information gathering. I would think it likely that others may similarly benefit from this post.
It would definitely be worth the money imo. 50-75k is probably 5-6 years of use for most people. Quite a performance bargain. |
