Default Rationale behind pulling brake fuse for 7AT launch?

I've been reading the forum for tips on drag racing with the 7AT.

I understand that one of the main tips is to pull the brake fuse, but I haven't seen the explanation on why do this or what it is supposed to do.

Could someone explain?

The car has something called brake override (safety feature) where if you are on the gas and on the brake at the same time, throttle would cut down to a maximum of 15%. If you pull the fuse, you basically disable that feature and allow you to brake torque the car at the start

you could wire a switch for the brake fuse instead. Make it a really bright lit switch too, just to remind you when the brake lights are off!
