I knew what I would be getting myself into if I bought the car, new OR used.

Honestly? I made a dude in a black 911 Turbo cry like a schoolgirl last week on the I-95 Exit 4 on-ramp. Not one to usually do this ****, but he had a CBE that was quite loud and he pulled up next to me at a stoplight and wouldn't stop revving his motor. Ever see that Xerox commercial with the guy in the wind tunnel when he looks over at the bean counter who just asked him to translate 300 pages into Portugeuse by tomorrow morning? That was the last thing the Turbo owner saw.

Yeah, I mean we're talking about cars. I just don't get what the point of bringing up the bikes is? (Almost) everyone knows how fast bikes are.

(Almost) made me well there is one more Porsche owner on the planet, anyway.

Yeah, and yet you are not driving a Porsche. I agree it's stupid to bring bikes up in this thread, they are not relevant and IMO are a stupid waste of money... oh wow a 500 lb bike can beat a car and people are supposed to be impressed? All the Porsche has to do is move over and give you a little nudge and your *** will be splattered all over the road.... gay.

Yea and if you are racing someone and they barely clip your rear end at 100mph you're going off the road into a ditch or into oncoming traffic = dead. So whats your point? don't race people who are willing to commit vehicular homicide?

Everyone talks about how the Z is a good value because its cheap and fast. guess what? bikes are way cheaper and way faster. so if you want to go fast and dont want to buy a 600hp car (yes thats about as much as you need to be outrunning a fast sportbike) then if you're crazy enough and have enough balls you'll ride a motorcylce. I agree that its totally irrelevant to bring up bikes in a thread about cars, but saying they are a waste of money because they are dangerous is kind of silly.

fastest moto gp bike is still not faster than a car duh.

deaths related to car accidents went down quite a bit since they started tracking it years ago. yet motorcycle deaths are still as high as it was in the 80s.

no. Methodical said that if a bike is racing porsche, the porsche can just ram him off the road and kill him. my point was that if you are racing a porsche in a car, and you are going fast enough, any contact between the cars will probably result in serious injury or death. So talking about racing and whats 'safer' to do something VERY dangerous in is pretty illogical. its like asking 'is it safer to drink drano or eat rat poison?'
