Default Slow 1/4 times.

Went to the track tonight and pretty much ran mid 14's all night. Ive been racing for years now and the track was prttey sticky. So I dont think my slow *** times were driver related. I only have test pipes so could that cause a power loss problem? The only thing I could think of besides that is I added some oil earlier today, could adding to much cause a loss in power?

What was the density altitude at the track?

And your 60' times? Would be helpful if you could post all of the details from your best slip.

A 97 mph trap seems like you were either dealing with a high DA, were very slow between gears, or the car just isn't making power for some mechanical reason.

My best stupid user trick for losing power so far: accidentally set the parking brake adjustment on the rear shoes too hard, they were dragging a bit the whole time It's easy to adjust with the wheel off though, there's a little rubber plug on the brake rotor. Pull that out, rotate the hub until you can see some little teeth through it with a flashlight, and reach in there with a screwdriver and turn the adjustment gear.

2 things...

1 your wheels whats your rear rim tire setup/ like 285/35/19 on a 10.5 inch rim

2. your test pipes took some torque from you too probally

Well my wife was kind enough to throw the slips away. All runs were 2.3 60ft at 97-98mph and ranged from 14.45x to a 14.9xx. The 14.45 had a 2.3 60ft and I launched around 1500-1800 rpm and didnt spin at all. This thing just feels sloppy. I was in memphis, tn, mir raceway. I dont know the air density altitude but will look. Im about to check oil level right now.

okay the oil level is one thing but if you could get your 60' down into a 2.0 that would help

i think your test pipes took some torque from ya too
