Slow 1/4 times.

I agree. I fully expect a 2.0 60ft and with a perfect launch it was still not doable:/ im thinking about taking off the test pipes if I have some

If anybody wants to get rid of some 18's or trade some 18's for my sport rims let me know. Im looking for a setup with drag radials.

Let's see now.
You've been racing for years-you have test pipes that add more HP than any other bolt on-the track was sticky-and you're driving a 370z-and you can't read/understand a dip stick.

and you say you're slow*** times are not driver related

I don't remember smoking grass tonight

Well you may have smoked some *** hole instead My track was sticky comment was me trying to say I got the best traction I could on my runs. Im telling you the car is running slow and the reason for this thread is to determine if to much oil or test pipes could in fact make my car slower in the 1/4 mile in certain conditions. And yes I have been racing for 10 years and this is the slowest I have ever ran at the track, and was quite embarrassing lol. And lastly, I dont understand your dipstick comment, I know it is over the maximum mark.

The reason I overfilled it was mainly due to me being in a hurry and parked on a hill. I have read of people complaining about their cars burning oil and mine has gone from right at the max line to just under the minimum line in about 1.5 months, about 1200 miles.

Test pipes are not slowing you down. Don't listen to anyone who says that.

Try detaching your battery over night? How is your gas mileage? How many miles on your car?

97 trap is very slow. What was the weather condition. Or better yet date and track I'll look Up the da. I've seen 101 traps on mostly stock cars but 97 is lowest I've seen. 2.3 60 is bad too though. Just letting off clutch than flooring it should net you a 2.1.

manual trans or flappy paddle? also dont remove your test pipes thats a waste of time. is the tuned? most likely there is another reason for your times/lack of power. 60ft time will not have much affect on your trap speed. If i was you go have the dynoed compare your results to others on the forum, i need to see more info then just 60ft and trap speed.

97mph trap speeds are pretty bad. I never hit less then 100mph in my 350z and 103 in my 370z. something is off in your tune, or you just really aren't very good at shifting and u are losing a lot of mph in between shifts.

looks like you are losing everything in the 60 ft. a 2.0 or 1.9 on true street tires is good, but a 2.3 is pretty bad. You are either blowing the tires off or bogging the car down. You say you aren't spinning so im guessing you are bogging.

With my dyno-verified 242whp mustang weighing in at around 3500# with driver/gas I was trapping a little faster than OP with 2.15-2.3' 60 times. Something is wrong with that car or insane altitude is involved. I esd sldo dpinning 5-10 feet on the 1-2.

Since no one has bothered to look it up or if they did they didn't post it, I will

MIR altitude is 1958ft above sea level. This should account for roughtly .3 secs slower compared to sea level but not enough for you to run 14's like you were

big j: i thought you moved to nashville? i'll be willing to hit up the 1/4mile at MIR the next time you go.

i have my base 18s if you really wanted to trade... although imo it wouldn't be an even trade, and i don't have extra cash to hand over.
