12.62 @ 108.9

Went to ST thomas drag way yesterday. Its a hard place to get a good time.
60 ft times starated of at 2.3 seconds and i got them down to 1.834 .
I ran the drag radial down to 15 lbs and got into the 1.83. Thats a new best for me .
I was afraid at first to run at 15 lbs but the car went staight as an arrow and it hooked hard no spinning the tires at all.
My tire's are worn out as i drove them for 15000 km ,
they are at the tabs on the treads now.
It was a nice day and we did not have the right fuel curve for a top end charge .
Will post pictures later today.
I now have the set up for the tires can not wait to get the SC installed.

Good time! Can't wait to see how you do with the GTM SC. Who does your tuning for you?

I miss that track, I used to pit for my buddy who's now running 9's in his civic. He usually runs better at tracks in the U.S., go figure.

I'm curious... it says you ran your best time at 309 whp and now have 320... what did you add to get to the 320 mark? Just tuning or something else? I know tuning usually only nets about 10 or so with most.

309 SAE RWHP ='s 320 standard rwhp. all the guys here post in the standard #.
now the day i ran the 12.42's the calcular said he car made 342 rwhp to fo that fast
But you make more rwhp on a cold day if you give it more fuel and ram the air into the engine because your going at 190km /hr in the 1.4 mile the emp that day was 44 degrees and the track was fully glued.

J naut
Once i took them to 15 lbs i could just punch the throtle and let the converter do its job . when it shifts it hooks hard on each gear change i was worried about my axiles.
ithe car just twist abit especially the 3rd to 4th shift.
The mustang and i both red lighted he jumped frist and naturlly i took off. he got me by 1foot. a car on the red light and i ran him down in 2nd gear and we were 1/2 a foot apart for the 3/4 of the way down the track. he got me by 1/2 a foot at the finnish line it was side by side shifting down the track, what a great race even thoe i lost to him. The DA was 1925 not good for racing.
he dynoed at 379 rwhp. and he is quick. we got the video of it .If i was at the other drag strip it would have been very low 12.3's.There was a super charged Pro mod mustang there that ran 7.9's. the sound and speed of the car is unbelivable. I just watched it was awsum.

7.9s are unbelievably fast. Always blows my mind to see a car hook and move that fast.

He also did a John Force burn out and went way past the start line
he made 3 passes.
every one was a show well worth the price of admision

here is the pic
note how it picks up the front of the car .the car sits really low with the skinney front tires.
you get a better idea if you look at the pasenger side fender well.
