Had a chance to go to the Ring
The Nurburgring, that is, but it fell through. I am in Paris, France, right now, and I have Friday off, before flying back to the US on Saturday morning. I was planning on going to the Ring (5 hours from Paris, driving time) and renting a sports car (plenty of companies that do that around the Ring), then driving back to Paris at night, but my luck is out: the track is not open Friday.
So, I am left with a day off and no track to go to. I'm thinking about Le Mans, perhaps, not sure if they have anything going on. Does anyone have any other recommendations? For now the Ring will stay as a dream for me, but one day, that track will be mine, and the other 40 or 50 cars that will be on track with me . |
