Which are the top oil coolers?
I live in FL and use my car for everyday driving. I go to the track 3-4 times a month. I have some mods done and would like a good quality brand oil cooler. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

florida and lots of track time = z1 motorsports 34 row oil cooler.

3-4 times a month is quite alot compared to probably 99% of the people here

but either way, being in floriday you should get the 34 row. I would say the z1 motorsports oil cooler. Its the one i have and ive not had any issues at all. Alot of members run the z1 oil cooler as well without issues.

Get the 34 row. I have the 25 row from Z1...it doesn't do much, but then again my car is complicated. Haha
|
what temps are u getting with the 25 row?
|
GTM 25 row if you plan on going FI

34 row temp difference to expect?

If you drag race only, you wont get much cool air into the cooler anyway. I am not sure if 34R will help that much more (not saying it doesn't help). Still, I would assume you get enough time to cool down the car anyway

when i do go to track, i race maybe 5 times in 5 hours but like i said lately its been twice a month. when i drive in city i see 220 so im wondering how much cooler it will be with 34 row.
|
a 34 row will keep you around 180 normally
when I trakced in the hot temps last year with my cooler i saw 220 at the peak. |
I have Z1 25 row an I havnt seen any temps over 240. I've ran two 25 min sessions back to back this past weekend. I'd suggest goin w a 34 row if you can afford it so u never have to upgrade for anything you do to the car. For re most part. Unless u go absoultly crazy.
