Update,
Saturday was an eventful day to say the least! A success considering the DA (Density Altitude), 100* weather, track conditions and lack of cooperation from the Z in the early going. In the end, we gathered a lot of solid data and a few world records along the way. As of tomorrow, we are removing the 7AT and improving on our modifications. The Excedy clutches are a major improvement over stock but we are not quite there! More clutches will do the trick. This turnaround should be relatively short and we plan to be back at the track in no time. As for the rest of the car: chassis, rear end, engine, axles, turbo system, diff bushings, exhaust system, and flex plate...they all rose to the occasion and performed flawlessly. In closing, the transmission with the current upgrades would perform great on the street but that's not good enough for us! Perfect or nothing less. I was disappointed in all the hype if it was only the 11.09" pass, but you built the viewing to a crescendo. 10.91 @ 130 is solid and deserves props. I'm envious of that time card. (I tried!)
