Default Forged Performance: Roll cages save lives.

Had a customer drop his street/track R35 back off to us here at Forged Performance for a partial cage build. This particular car is being prepped to run some very fast times. Previously we have installed JRZ Coilovers, Aeromotions rear wing, AP Rotors and MANY more road race specific modifications. Today we finished up the rear half cage build and I thought I would share some photos

Boy I hope to get a cage by year ends out. Trying to have alot of street fun now. But hope to be a full track car next year. Then it will be all business then. I really want all the safty issues out of the way before pushing it hard.

That's a smart approach. Do some HPDE's and get some time first in a safe environment. Then spend money on safely and handling. The car already has plenty of power.

That's the plan. Soon enough I'll be calling on you for an instructor. Be ready.

Update time! The cage has been painted and we are in the process of painting the rear floor board now where there will be no carpet. After that we will reassemble the interior. Stay tuned for finish product pictures tomorrow

How bad is visibility after a cage like that? Seems like it would affect it quite a bit.

The Racetech's are incredibly safe, supportive, and VERY comfortable. You could seriously fall asleep in them.
