Mid-Ohio 'B' Day Present
My oil may get hot this weekend at Mid-Ohio but at least my head will look cool. New birthday present
I tried to find something to compete with RCZ's background but there was nothing to compare!

It only took five laps to get the oil into the hot zone. Two warm-up laps, two laps in traffic and one lap at speed resulted in the oil going over 275F and climbing. Since I will be putting an oil cooler on the car I saw no need to abuse it the first time out.
If you are looking for track time there are several web sites where you can sign up for track time. Porsche and BMW clubs have lots of events listed. Some of the clubs are limited to their makes only. Most will allow other cars to run. In this economy I think you will see most clubs letting anyone run with them. You can try: www.clubregistration.net for events. There are many others.
