60-130 times are just another way to compare performance. Just like 0-60, 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile times. The OP is right about it being a good indicator of how much hp a vehicle has because it helps in eliminating driver skill and traction at the start of measurement as a variable.
Some people favor looks and sound over performance. Some people like the VIP flush look with stretched tires. Some people don't like it at all. Most of us are 370Z owners and almost all of us are car enthusiasts. We should be more civilized. If you see a thread with a topic you don't agree with, you have the choice of not coming into it. |

Do you see 370z members spamming bmw forums? No. You aren't doing a good job trying to get members here to get into an e-penis measuring contest.

LOL. Yup that's pretty much it. A car with higher HP/weight will get you better acceleration, pretty simple math. I am not sure the need to do it over and over since machines pretty much stay the same. It's not like watching a basketball game where one can have a bad game, duh.

That is the category for this forum, not sure how some acceleration run has anything to do with it. My wife's SUV can run 13.8, big deal. |

I have to say though, I am interested in seeing this 60-130 data for the 370Z now. Most importantly I wanna see how I do on a 60-130 run (on a track of course) |

On a local track, my Z just jumped to 100, then less but still a good pull to 130, after that a very slow walk to 150. I shut it down at 150, i think the limiter is set at 155 on the Z.

Yeah, but you can have the limited removed with a tune. I've never driven a car at those speeds, but I want to so badly in the Z. Only problem is finding a safe place to do it.
