Ive decided to go to the strip this morning.
Drag radials are on and we will see what the new converter does.
Its cold here,its 26 degress now and it might warm up to 45.
hoping for good 60 ft and 1/8 mile times, not sure what traction will be like on gear changes as the payment will be very cold.
there is still snow on the ground.
I also need to replace the back brake pads,
not expecting great times as saftey comes first and want to come home in one piece.
Im running the stock fuel curve and have a 7500 rpm limiter today.
but i will get lots of information from the data that the uprev give me.

its going to be a good drag racing year, lots of people with lots of new toys.... GL steve!

Default too much snow at side of track

[ATTACH][/ATTACH]It was a great day. 45 degress and sunny. But there was too much unmelted snow at the side of the drag strip. It was not safe to race. They cancelled the day and next weekend will be the first day the track is open.

Even though I did not go down the track i got to test my torque converter in the vacant parking lot.
It works good i can hold it a 2000 rpm and the car pulls hard especially when I shift at 7100 rpm. The rpm's drop to 6000 and it hits hard and pulls with authority. I stopped at 6000 in 4th. I noticed the difference how solid and crisp the shift is after i change gears. ( the butt dyno really feels the difference) way more defined and powerful than the stock converter.
We will have to wait till next saturday.
For all you guys in Florida that white stuff is snow
