It is. That's why the cost hurts more.

If you have it, go for it. Good luck.

You can always downgrade to 18's or 20's. The tires are cheaper from those wheel size. ...Well, not super cheap, but definitely a few bucks off than 19's.
And yeah, you have to obviously buy new rims as well.

cossie1600 03-12-2011 12:28 AM

I have 18" rims, but it would knock me out of class and the price difference is less than $20.

Well I didn't order it today, the RE11 went up in price and they want $1380 installed and taxed. I am going to bring my business elsewhere unless they bring it back down to $1200!!!

fuzzywuzzy 03-12-2011 04:30 AM

Dude non sport package Re11's on tirerack.com are 1070+ 60 shipping and install is around 90 total 1220 your getting ripped off

AutoX Z 03-12-2011 09:17 AM

Start buying Hoosier A6's, then you can complain about tire costs.

spearfish25 03-12-2011 09:29 AM

Switch to sport bike racing? Then you only have to buy two tires. Medical bills may get expensive though.

cossie1600 03-12-2011 12:30 PM

i am gonna go nascar

That will REALLY cut down on your tire expense. Those guys go through 20+ sets of tires every weekend at $2k a pop :rofl2:

Start buying Avon Race slicks and understand what a real race tire costs. DOT stuff is peanuts
