What RPM do you launch at?

I slip the clutch and gently modulate the gas. Slipping the clutch reduces shock to the tires and helps prevent traction loss. Modulating the gas helps prevent excessive wheel spin.

Launching on street tires is a tough balance. Too much wheel spin and you go nowhere. Too little and you bog or experience wheel hop.

Agreed. Little bit of slip.
