Z Nationals 2010 1/4 Mile Event @ Alabama International Drag Strip - ONLY $15

Everyone,
As a part of our 2010 Z Nationals festivities, we will also be holding both a Road Course and 1/4 mile drag race event on Friday and Sunday respectively.

The 1/4 mile drag race event will again be held at the Alabama International Drag Strip. Located about 45 minutes from the event hotel, this drag stip is a sanctioned NHRA track and has been featured on PINKS many times. There is a $15 gate fee to ALL attenents entering the facility. This covers a full day of 1/4 drag race fun with a group of fellow Z owners.

Only closed toe shoes and long pants are required of all drivers and passengers. Cars will have to pass a tech inspection as well.

This is again, a great way to safely get aquainted with your Z in a track enviornment. Practice your launches and collect some 1/4 miles times to really see who is the faster Z or G of the day.

What kind of results did the turbo and SC 370's get at the drag event?

Unfortunately it never took place. The weather was PERFECT Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Sunday was another story sadly.

The rains held off until around 3 or 4 AM Sunday morning, soaking the track. The rains did not stop until late yesterday.

We will try to reschedule a mini-Z/G Drag event in the coming weeks before the tracks close and winter sets in. I will keep you posted!

Darnit...well at least the weather held up for the vast majority of the event! Thanks for putting on a great show, guys!

Thanks Sharif. No official word yet on a mini-drag event or gathering either. I will be working on it soon since we are now event free for a while.
