If you didnt hear a loud KA-KLUNK or anything, I doubt it siezed - it sounds like it happened far too fast for anything major to happen anyway.

On that note, if its true she shut down automatically due to low-oil, thats kinda handy...as long as it doesn't happen TOO early lol...

Best of luck on the oil issue. As others have stated I hope it just a computer shut down.

On a different note. It appears that the oil cooler lines are next to one of the aluminum lines leading to the power steering cooler. The braided stainless lines can wear into that aluminum line. I'd put a piece of hose around the aluminum line to prevent wear. Easy fix if the shop is working on a loose line.

Yikes, I wish they had put an oil pressure gauge instead of the digital clock.
Do you think it would be possible to use the stock gauge pod for oil pressure?

Great work with the mods, hope everything works out with the motor.
Please post more pictures... GT3 seats

Another choice for gauges is Spa. They have a unique product line. The gauge can be ordered with 2 readings in one gauge with different background colors and a white or black front. Water temp/ oil temp, oil pressure/oil temp, boost pressure/EGT .....

Here's an example:

I like those dual ones. I wonder if we can retrofit them into our gauge pod. Anybody try to modify the stock pod yet?

I think the Spa ones are kind of ugly. I prefer Defi gauges from an aesthetic standpoint but it would sure be nice to have dual readings in one gauge, so the Spa wins for practicality. Either way, someone needs to put after market gauges in that gaugepod. A digital clock was almost as useless as the cloth top on a murcielago roadster.
