Where can I go to see street cars on track?

Hey guys, I'm from VA. I want to go see a race or even an open track day where street cars will be present. I'm not interested in a drag strip...I like race courses.

I'd like to go see something as early as today if possible lol. Do you have any suggestions?

orly? I'll have to go check this out. Are you sure? For example, if there werent a scheduled sports bike race or something today....they'd have street cars on the track?

You need to check the website of the given track in advance. Look for SCCA PDX, NASA, etc on their schedules. Those will have the largest variety of cars and skill levels. What part of VA?

I don't go to see street cars, but VIR has track days and HPDE events in between the higher profile races - lots of NSX owners go. Also, there's the Christmas charity event where you can follow a pace car around for a few laps (did it a few times). Sometimes it's too late in the year though and the track can be icy!

Kind of a weird question. But yes, like everyone else is saying, your only two options are Summit Point (about an hour away from NOVA) and VIR (about 4-4.5 hours from NOVA). Check the website schedules to see what's going on. If you just want to watch street cars driving on a race track (kind of weird), go when an HPDE weekend is going on and watch as a spectator.
